Use of Tarot

I am often asked, 'What is Tarot?'

The dictionary will tell you that it is, 'Any card used in fortune telling'

Next question is usually, 'Does it work?'

Well... if it were as simple as merely 'seeing into the future' an awful lot of tarot readers would be picking lottery numbers and retiring! :-)

'So what does Tarot do?'

It can tell you what has been - and what may occur. It can help you mull over tricky questions surrounding 'that job, that house move,

'That relationship'

Tarot can be a useful aid in putting you on the right track. But, like Galadriel's mirror, what is seen in the cards, for good or bad, may not come to be because we must all make choices of our own free will.

Tarot can be used to help you in that process, but is seldom all-seeing. Nor should it be - never forget that you are your own person, walking a road built upon free will.
